About the WebmistressThis is a featured page

So, I guess this is where I'm supposed to talk about myself. Well, I am a subject of which I know everything, but hate speaking about.

What to say, what to say . . . . . . .

ummm . . . Well, I'm an independent, very opinionated person. I'm very sarcastic. I cuss too much. I used to smoke, but kicked the habit; much to the delight of my family. I love my family and friends. When I love, I do it fiercely and with all my heart. When I hate . . . well, let's just say you don't want to find out.
I've been told I read too much, but I disagree. I have so much imagination that my imagination has its own imagination. I write to work out frustrations. I write all kinds of things from *sigh* romance stories to *oh, yes* smut. I love bumper stickers and have my own collection of sayings. I was just a kid in the 80's, but that is my favorite decade. I love anything that makes me laugh. My sense of humor is on the morbid side. I am very ecclectic in my music tastes. I will listen to anything just once to try it out.

As a hobby, of which I have many, I: collect frogs, write, read, crochet, cross stitch, various other crafts. I like to play Diablo II Lord of Destruction to blow off steam. I'm in to most things gothic, vampires, werewolves and all creatures of the night.

I used to work in a cubicle farm and miss all my friends from those days. I have an extremely morbid sense of humor. I love music and watching movies.

Some of the bands I listen to are:
David Bowie, Dexy's Midnight Runners, Etta James, Billie Holiday, Blondie, The Pretenders, Joan Jett, Duran Duran, Cyndi Lauper, Stray Cats, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Hoobastank, A Perfect Circle, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Roberta Flack, Aerosmith, Scorpions, Staind, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Ozbourne, Harry Connick Jr, Queen, Gwen Stefani, Air Supply, Madonna, Toni Basil, HIM, Black Eyed Peas, Evanescence, Enya, Moya Brennan, Sarah Brightman, Sarah MacLochlan, Sarah Evans, Andrea Bocelli, Pussycat Dolls, Josh Groban, Il Divo, Jewel, Kelly Clarkson, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Celine Dion, Van Halen, Roxette, U2, Elton John, 50's music, 80's Rock and Hair bands, The Carpenters, Guns-n-Roses, Bette Midler, KISS, Billy Joel, Steve Winwood, Cheap Trick, Tom Petty the Heartbreakers, The Police, Hall & Oates, Alanis Morissette, Chris Isaac, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Lynnard Skynard, Charlie Daniels Band, Hank Williams Jr, Eagles, Brian McKnight, Boyz 2 Men, Bryan Adams, Daniel Bedingfield, CCR, Momas & Popas, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Dwight Yokam, Busta Rhymes, Celtic music, Irish Punk, Irish Folk music, Shakira, Poison, Jim Byrnes Band, Ray Charles, Dark Sanctuary, Paul Young, Mr. Mister, UB40, Vixen, Tears 4 Fears, Tracy Bird, Tanya Tucker ~~ and a great many more...

Some of my favorite movies include: The Deep, Jaws, Anything with Robert Shaw,
Amadeus, Valmont, Dangerous Liasons, Dark Crystal, Legend, Labyrinth, Harry Potter movies, All things Gary Busey, Finding Neverland, Peter Pan (2003), Lost Boys, X-men movies, Blade movies, Moulin Rouge, Strictly Ballroom, Monster-in-Law, Flesh + Blood, Bridget Jones movies, Tank Girl, Zombie movies, Must Love Dogs, Braveheart, Lethal Weapon movies, Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, anything with Ron Perlman, anything with Rutger Hauer, The Craft, Interview with a Vampire, Highlander Movies, Matchmaker, When Harry met Sally, My Best Friend's Wedding, Runaway Bride, Mary Reilly, Erin Brockovich, Cry Wolf, Adventures in Babysitting, Harry and the Hendersons, Tombstone, Tomb Raider movies, What's New Pussycat, Ghoulies, The Polar Express, House of Usher, Vincent Price movies, Hammer Films, Lost in Translation, Mad Dog and Glory, Riding in Cars with Boys, Dangerous Minds, Forget Paris, Father's Day, America's Sweethearts, The Legend of Billie Jean, Scooby Doo movies ~~ just to name a few . . .

I have a collection of 'B' rated movies and vampire movies. I collect tv shows on dvd also. My two fave vamp movies are Blood Ties (1993) and To Die For (1989). The 2nd movie I mentioned is not the Nicole Kidman movie and it can be found on Amazon.com under the title Brom Stoker's Dracula: A Love Story To Die For.

Well, I guess that's all for now. I'll update as I think of new things to add.
